About the Role: 
In this role, you’ll design, deliver and embed practical learning solutions that build capability and improve performance across NZ Distribution (PlaceMakers and Mico). Working closely with our branch network and leadership teams, your role will be key in identifying learning needs and delivering fit for purpose solutions across onboarding, core capability and leadership development. You’ll facilitate engaging workshops, webinars and digital learning, ensuring learning is practical, relevant and makes a difference.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Diagnose learning needs, then design, develop, and embed learning content and programmes 
  • Deliver engaging learning workshops, webinars and digital learning
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify capability and training needs
  • Support across onboarding, leadership, service, culture and talent initiatives
  • Contribute to inclusion and diversity in partnership with HR and the L&OD Manager
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness and drive continuous improvement 
  • Manage external provider relationships when necessary

What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience in learning & development, training, or a similar comparable role 
  • Practical, commercial mindset with the ability to turn needs into effective learning solutions 
  • Confidence using digital learning platforms, LMS tools and picking up new systems 
  • Facilitation experience with confidence leading engaging learning sessions 
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders 
  • Project management experience, with the ability to plan learning initiatives, set clear timelines and deliver to deadlines
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities

Permanent full-time role 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, based on site at PlaceMakers Support Office in Penrose, Auckland
