Pacific Coilcoaters (aka ColorCote) is the market leader of pre-painted steel and metal products in New Zealand. We are part of Fletcher Building, a diversified global building industry company. 

Here at PCC we are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Logistics Operator with forklift experience, to pack steel and ensure the quality on our supply chain team. Based in our busy production facility in Penrose, this role will see you:

·       Pack and assist stores team to dispatch customer orders

·       Pack in a timely manner to meet DIFOT

·       Support the wider Logistics Team by utilising your great problem solving and communication skills

·       Seek continuous improvement and time saving initiatives in all areas

·       Maintain good housekeeping practices in all our stores, packing, and bulk storage areas

Ideally you will have previous manufacturing experience preferably in packaging or in a general factory environment, together with a fork hoist licence.

Health and Safety is at the forefront of what we do so safe work practices, along with the willingness to identify potential hazards and participate in Health and Safety training, is a must.

We currently operate a 24/5.5 production.  This role is for weekly rotating roster of day and afternoon shift. Day shift Monday to Saturday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and afternoon shift Monday to Friday from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
