As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dynamic Logistics & Warehouse Manager to lead our operations and drive efficiency across the supply chain.
The Role
As our Logistics & Warehouse Manager, you’ll be the backbone of our supply chain operations. You’ll oversee the end-to-end logistics process, manage warehouse staff, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers. This is a hands-on leadership role where strategic thinking meets operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations for logistics, warehouse, and offsite storage areas.
- Manage relationship and contract/SLA with Carriers and 3PL service provider
- Drive Health & Safety excellence, maintaining a zero-harm culture.
- Manage team rosters, plant and equipment, and mobile assets.
- Oversee inbound and outbound freight, traffic management, and FIFO storage.
- Optimise logistics processes through data analysis and continuous improvement.
- Foster a high-performing team culture through coaching, engagement, and development.
- Build strong relationships across Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales, as well as with freight and shipping partners.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities in Logistics, Warehouse or Supply Chain Management, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment (5+ years).
- Experienced in Freight RFP and Supplier and Contract management
- Experience in fleet optimisation and cost saving initiatives.
- Ability to apply data analytics & interpret data to identify process improvement.
- Advanced computer literacy in TMS/WMS systems and data analysis tools such as MS Excel and Power BI (desirable),
- Strong technical knowledge of H&S, Employment Relations, and logistics compliance.
- Experience with SOPs, performance metrics, and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a face past environment with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Certification in SCM and/or APICS desirable
