About the position:

Currently we are looking for a Machine Operator to join our team in Hobart. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our industrial equipment. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that we are meeting our production goals, while maintaining the highest standard of quality control.

This is a full-time opportunity, based at our site in Hobart.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate machines used in the production process.
Monitor machines during operation to detect malfunctions or issues and adjust accordingly.
Conduct first line maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
Ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently, optimizing productivity.
Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies at all times.

About you:

Total commitment to safety with a team approach and ability to also work independently.
Reliable with availability across rotating shift times.
Previous work in Manufacturing or Production is ideal (or Physical/manual labour role).
The ability to manually lift heavy items- with safety guidelines in place.
Forklift license is essential.
