About the role

We’re looking for a Machine Operator to join our team at our Hobart site.

You’ll be operating factory machinery to produce steel products, keeping equipment running safely, and working as part of a solid production team. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday morning shift - 0600 to 1406..

What you’ll be doing

• Set up and run production machines
• Keep an eye on machines and fix minor issues
• Carry out basic maintenance and troubleshooting
• Make sure production targets are met safely
• Follow safety rules and site procedures at all times
• Work as part of a team to get the job done

What we’re looking for

• Strong safety focus and good work ethic
• Reliable and happy to work the morning shift - Shift times = 0600-1406 
• Manufacturing, production, or hands‑on labour experience
• Able to do manual work and lift safely
• Forklift licence is essential
• Able to work on your own and in a team
