About the Role:

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of electrical equipment supporting the manufacturing process. The role may transition to a rotating shift structure.

Shift Pattern:

This role operates on a 12-hour shift, Monday to Friday.
The roster alternates weekly between:
3 days week one (Mon-Wed)
4 days week two (Mon-Thurs)

Your responsibilities will include:

Proactively demonstrate a personal commitment to safety and our PROTECT safety culture
Complete job specific permits, identify hazards, and implement control measures
Efficient and effective fault finding to diagnose and repair plant outages
Prioritise jobs to achieve high plant availability in coordination with maintenance and production supervisors
Complete quality assurance testing and recording
Report all injuries, incidents, hazards, and near misses
Develop and maintain positive work relationships within the team
Support and mentor apprentices

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/ experience:

Current “A” Grade electrical licence
Appropriate trade certification
Previous experience in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment
Process control instrumentation and calibration experience
Sound understanding/experience working with PLC's (Siemens, Allen Bradley)
Use of maintenance systems e.g. MEX
Forklift licence
