ABOUT US

Clever Core New Zealand is a purpose-designed offsite manufacturing facility based in Wiri. We are building a new generation of homes for New Zealand and want to be the number one supplier of panelised homes designed specifically for manufacture.

WHAT WE DO

We manufacture the walls and floors to go into Residential homes to save time on site and create a safer and better-quality product. Our clients come to us for homes that can be built faster, more accurately and with less waste.

THE JOB

  • Responsible for carrying out assessments of the plant to identify problems (mechanical aptitude) and fixing mechanical issues and projects.
  • Carry out on the run preventative and predictive maintenance checks scheduled for the equipment 
  • Ensure product specification is correct according to quality standards
  • Timely and accurate entry of production data 
  • Participate in the planning and execution of Safety Improvements across the plant.
  • Ability to liaise and manage contractors.

ABOUT YOU 
  • Mechanical Trade background (Fitter & Turner, Fitter/Welder, Level 4 Maintenance & Diagnostics).
  • At least 5 years experience within an industrial, manufacturing or warehouse setting
  • Forklift – OSH and ‘F’ endorsement
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in manufacturing and warehouse setting
  • Excellent Communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
