About the Role
Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact? Join our small team at Iplex in Strathpine, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our mechanical equipment operates efficiently and safely. As a Maintenance Fitter, you'll be responsible for diagnosing faults, performing routine maintenance, and repairing or replacing faulty components. Your expertise will help minimise downtime and enhance our production processes, contributing to the overall success of our business. You must be passionate about safety and ensure all wors is performed with all safety protocols followed. This role offers a rotating roster, requiring availability for both day and night shifts, and the chance to work in a small, close-knit team led by an established leader who is connected to team and outcomes.

Required Licenses
  • Mechanical fitting trade or similar background (MERSITAB)
  • High Risk Forklift License
  • Exposure to permit to work systems and lock out, tag out procedures
  • High Risk EWP License - Preferred
  • Restricted electrical license - Preferred
Ideal Skills & Experience
  • Trained or equivalent skills in machine fitting
  • Experience in troubleshooting and automation
  • Understanding of PVC granulation and PVC mixing – highly regarded
  • Exposure to machinery of high net value and the actions required to protect investment
  • Knowledge and skills with JDE, MEX, or other ERP systems
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and understand clear direction with a team approach
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with basic computer skills in Microsoft suite
