About the Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager – Manufacturing, this Maintenance Fitter role is responsible for ensuring plant and equipment operate safely and efficiently. Working across all production line equipment, you will play a key role in preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and supporting the long-term reliability and performance of our new facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out mechanical maintenance across the entire production line, including presses, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and associated mechanical components.
  • Deliver planned preventative maintenance and scheduled corrective actions, ensuring all work orders are completed to plan, priority, and agreed timeframes.
  • Identify and proactively address maintenance issues impacting plant performance.
  • Support capital projects and commissioning activities as required.
  • Work collaboratively within a team-first, safety-focused environment.

What we are looking for 
  • Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in general engineering/maintenance fitting within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong mechanical fault-finding skills with a proactive, preventative maintenance mindset.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining and servicing production line equipment, including conveying systems, drives, motors, gearboxes, and associated mechanical components.
  • Team oriented with a willingness to support others when required.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with key plant stakeholders.
  • Leadership in Health & Safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Capability to work autonomously and independently.
