More About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and results driven Maintenance Manager to take ownership of a critical function in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Reservoir, Melbourne. In this position, you will be leading a team of 5+ people at our 24/7 operating Manufacturing site. You are an integral part of this operation and will report directly to the Site Manufacturing Manager. You will be responsible for scheduling our AM & PM teams, along with contractor management. As a leader, you will also be a large part of your team's success by continued training and support to upskill them in their roles while setting deliverable and measurable outcomes.

We are looking for someone who has exposure to leading and supporting maintenance work (current, planned and new) You will be a safety advocate and really drive our company EHS Initiatives. This role is perfect for someone who is comfortable managing budgets, leading strategic initiatives, and fostering a high-performance team culture. Your ability to engage, influence, and inspire will be key to driving change and delivering results.

Does this Sound Like You?

Electrical/Mechanical trades qualified OR bachelor’s in engineering
Project Management and working with metrics, budgets, and completion dates
Exposure to MEX & JDE to leverage data for predictive maintenance & decision making
Passionate about continuous improvement
Understanding of safety inductions and issuing permits
Past EHS experience in a manufacturing environment and ability to drive initiatives
Conform to statutory standards with a view to long-term plant reliability
Mechanically Minded, Able to troubleshoot, asses risk on all machines and areas
Have excellent communication skills and time management
Confident in Excel and reporting
