Maintenance Planner
Colorcote | Auckland | Full Time
At Fletcher Building, we’re proud to build better homes, communities and infrastructure across New Zealand. We’re now looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our Engineering team and help drive safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance.
About the Role
This is a hands-on planning role where you’ll coordinate maintenance activities, optimise schedules, and support continuous improvement across our site. You’ll work closely with Engineering, contractors, and stakeholders to minimise downtime and keep operations running at their best.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule preventive and reactive maintenance
  • Prioritise breakdowns to minimise production downtime
  • Maintain CMMS data (MEX), asset registers, and maintenance records
  • Coordinate contractors and manage maintenance workflows
  • Support EHS compliance, audits, and contractor inductions, permit to work issuing,
  • Monitor spare parts inventory and control maintenance spend
  • Drive reliability improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
  • To co-ordinate daily activities of the Maintenance Fitters to support the maintenance plan
About You
  • Experience in maintenance planning or engineering environment
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • CMMS experience (MEX or similar)
  • Sound understanding of health & safety practices
  • Proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused
