Description

Fletcher Construction is building its own in-house technology capability as part of its transition to becoming a standalone business within VINCI Construction, a global leader in construction. As we establish our future technology operating model, we're growing our internal IT team and creating new opportunities for experienced technology professionals to help shape how technology services are delivered across the business. 

As Manager - Technology Operations, you'll play a key leadership role in that journey. You'll lead the teams and services that keep our business running day to day, overseeing Service Desk, End User Computing, Infrastructure and Network services while ensuring reliable, secure and effective technology support across the organisation. 
Working closely with business leaders, project teams and technology partners, you'll help strengthen operational performance while supporting a period of technology transition and growth. 
 
Key responsibilities include: 
  • Lead and develop the Technology Operations function, creating clear priorities, expectations and development pathways for your team 
  • Oversee the delivery and performance of Service Desk, End User Computing, Infrastructure, and Network services across the business 
  • Manage major incidents, problem resolution, and change processes to maintain service stability and minimise disruption 
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders, acting as a trusted partner for operational technology services 
  • Manage technology vendors and service providers, ensuring strong performance and value from external partnerships 
  • Support technology transition and separation activities while maintaining operational continuity and service quality 

What You'll Bring to the Role: 
  • At least 10 years' experience in enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, service management, or related technology environments 
  • Proven experience leading technical operations, infrastructure, or support teams within a complex organisation 
  • Strong knowledge of IT service management principles, including incident, problem, and change management 
  • Broad technical understanding across infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, end-user technology, Microsoft 365, Azure, and security 
  • Experience managing vendors, service providers, contracts, and operational performance outcomes 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance strategic priorities and day-to-day operational leadership
