Description

The Role:

You will be responsible for the effective day-to-day operation of the Cutting and Framing team,  also including: 
  • A hands-on people leader to a solid team of 8 staff who can provide strategic leadership and mentoring to drive them to continue to meet and exceed high standards of production operations
  • Focusing on strategic planning and continuous improvement to maintain excellence in all aspects of operations within this site
  • Ensuring compliance to regulatory EHS and quality systems to maintain a safe working environment

This is a permanent full-time role, offering 43.75 hours a week, Monday-Friday, based in our Richmond, Nelson plant. 


Skills & Experience: 

Our ideal candidate will have relevant supervisory experience in a team leadership role and have confident and clear communication skills. You will need the commitment and leadership ability to drive your team to meet and exceed high standards of delivery & performance. 
  • Previous experience in frame & truss manufacturing or general construction preferable
  • Knowledge of the building industry and supplies or Qualifications in Carpentry are desired
  • Commitment to high standards of health and safety in the workplace
  • Clean, full NZ Drivers Licence is a must and will ideally you will hold Health and Safety Qualifications
