Marketing Communications and Design Specialist – Penrose, Auckland

The Role
We are looking for a creative and dynamic Marketing Communications and Design Specialist to join our team and contribute to driving brand preference, engagement and growth. Combining creative graphic design skills with marketing insights, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Design visually appealing marketing materials, including digital ads, technical literature social media graphics, brochures, presentations, and email campaigns.
  • Develop and implement marketing communication strategies to promote our products and services.
  • Drive the communication strategy through brand programs, managing our Share of Voice programme.
  • Develop and manage GIB® library of digital assets, ensuring all marketing materials align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent brand voice.
  • Champion our brand's integrity by ensuring consistent representation across all platforms, safeguarding against unauthorised use, and taking appropriate action to protect the brand’s integrity. 
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and provide insights for improvement.

About You
You’re a creative powerhouse with proven experience in graphic design, and a background in creating detailed communication programmes. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills make managing multiple projects and tight deadlines a breeze. You’re not just detail-orientated, you have a key eye for design that sets you apart and you thrive in fast-paced environments, working collaboratively to bring ideas to life.  Ideally you will have the following experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field with 5+ years’ experience.
  • Strong proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in the building materials or construction industry advantageous but not essential.
