Description

The Role:
You will be stepping into our vibrant, fast pace in-house marketing team, reporting to our Customer Experience Manager - as our marketing coordinator. Our marketing team provides support to our nationwide PlaceMakers branch network. 

Daily you will be responsible for, however not limited too - 

  • Working with the Customer Engagement Team to develop national marketing strategies to deliver growth within our trade customer base
  • Brainstorming, developing and implementing marketing plans with the category team to ensure that objectives are met, while also appealing to our trade customers
  • The coordinating and management of promotional campaigns for trade customers
  • Ensuring a high level of output and that all promotion material is prepared on time
  • Supporting our PlaceMakers branches with their own local promotional activity & marketing material 
  • Managing EDM content, creation, and delivery
  • Liaising with the wider Digital & Marketing Team to ensure cross-collaboration and the sharing of knowledge across the team

This is a fixed term role, offering 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, based at our National office in Penrose. 

About you:  
We’re looking for someone who enjoys and thrives working at pace and wants to be part of a friendly and closeknit team. 
  • Previous experience in the marketing space or administration experience – ideally 1-2 years
  • Organised and able to work to deadlines 
  • Excellent communicator in both written and verbal form 
  • Great at multitasking and excellent time management
  • Self-starter who is eager to learn and grow & shows initiative
  • Experience with developing promotional campaigns & Salesforce Marketing Cloud a bonus
