Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an all-rounder Machine Operator. In this role, you will produce masonry blocks to specification, ensuring consistent levels of quality as per the plant’s production schedule.

What We Can Offer: 

  • Guaranteed 40 hours per week 
  • 10-hour dayshifts - 6am to 4.30pm 
  • Time and a half for all work performed after 40 hours on Friday when required

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Operate machinery to produce masonry blocks as per specifications 
  • Maintain consistent quality in line with the production schedule 
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient production 
  • Adhere to health and safety standards to keep yourself and others safe 


What We Are Looking For: 

  • Excellent and clear communication skills to facilitate efficient discussions within the team 
  • Mechanically minded with a background in manufacturing is a bonus 
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn not only the basics of machine production but in time other elements onsite, including block machine and loader operations 
  • Forklift license/ Loader experience is an extra bonus 
  • High level of health and safety awareness to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and those around you
