About the Role 

Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter (Maintenance Team) looking for an exciting opportunity to build a name for yourself in the Manufacturing industry with a leading National brand? We are looking for a Fitter to join our Maintenance team at Iplex in Chipping Norton, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our mechanical equipment operates efficiently and safely. As a Maintenance Fitter, you'll be responsible for diagnosing faults, performing routine maintenance, and repairing or replacing faulty components. Your expertise will help minimise downtime and enhance our production processes, contributing to the overall success of our business. 

You must be passionate about safety and ensure all work is performed with all safety protocols followed. You will be an expert in troubleshooting and be able to build good connections with our production teams to ensure collaboration. This role is great for someone who can work as part of a strong functioning team but also the ability to work with autonomy. 

Ideal Skills & Experience 
  • Exposure to machinery of high net value and the actions required to protect investment 
  • Knowledge and skills with JDE, MEX, or other ERP systems 
  • Mechanical fitting trade or similar background (MERSITAB) 
  • High Risk Forklift License 
  • Exposure to permit to work systems and lock out, tag out procedures 
  • High Risk EWP License 
  • Self-motivated with basic computer skills in Microsoft suite 
  • Enthusiastic about providing the best service levels possible 
  • Great communication, energetic personality and approachable
