We have an opportunity to join our team as a Mower Operator. Reporting to the Foreperson, you will carry out the machine operation for the completion of road mowing activities which includes verge, berm and batter mowing using a tractor-mounted flail mower.

This is a permanent, full-time role working a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday typically starting at 6am on a rotating on-call duty roster.  The ideal candidate will need to have the flexibility to work additional days/hours to meet the business needs.

This role will be commencing on or after 13 January 2025.


Skills & Experience  

  • Ability to operate a flail mower with minimal breakdowns 
  • Mechanically minded, able to complete simple repairs on mowing gear 
  • Full current Class 1 licence and Wheels, Tracks and Rollers endorsement is a must
  • A basic traffic control qualification
  • Highest commitment to health and safety
  • An ability, willingness and commitment to be multi-skilled and up-skilled
  • A reasonable level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the position
  • Be a reliable, honest and flexible team-player
