You will provide leadership for 6 branches, namely Pukekohe, Takanini, Drury, Flatbush, East Tamaki and Manukau. Ideally you will be based at our East Tamaki branch and you will provide some operational input and day to day assistance to the running of this branch as your home branch.

We are looking for someone who is an intuitive and natural people leader. Ideally you will have experience in some sort of change management, be that increasing performance and capability of a team or re-setting expectations. You will have experience to offer in relation to coaching and empowering people in a customer focused environment.

Our branches are performing well however there is a lot of potential we’ve yet to tap into and this is where you will find your opportunity to shine and make an impact as a leader - through your ability to grow capability and drive for a profitable result. 

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be looped into the wider strategy for the region which you will then be able to distill into plans for your branches to achieve goals and financial targets.  Although this role is more operational in nature, we will be looking for an individual who is commercially savvy and who can continue to build rapport with our customers. As part of this you will be expected to develop a strong relationship with the Sales Team in order to maximise mutually beneficial opportunities and work collaboratively towards company targets.  

This is a busy, hands on role in an industry that’s growing but highly competitive. To succeed you will need to offer a good balance between being enthusiastic and resilient, but you’ll be well rewarded and supported by our leadership team. We work hard, but we are down to earth and know how to have a good laugh.

Experience in the trade industry, ideally plumbing or building will be a very strong advantage. However, it will be your proven people skills along with your operational expertise and solid understanding of B2B sales process which will see you succeed.
