The Opportunity
We are seeking a National Business Manager – Hardware Channel to lead the next phase of growth across Australia’s most influential hardware and trade customers. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role, reporting to the Head of Sales and responsible for developing and executing Laminex’s national hardware channel strategy across key customers.

This role combines strategic leadership with commercial execution to drive sustainable growth, increase market share, and strengthen customer partnerships.
A key focus will be expanding the channel beyond traditional trade products by driving growth across Laminex’s architectural product categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the national hardware channel strategy aligned to business objectives
  • Build customer-specific growth plans to increase market share and strengthen partnerships
  • Expand routes to market for architectural and decorative products within the hardware channel
  • Own and lead strategic relationships with national and regional hardware customers
  • Negotiate trading agreements, pricing, promotions, and commercial terms
  • Deliver revenue, margin, and market share targets
  • Lead, coach, and provide direction to State Account Managers
  • Drive consistency, performance, and accountability across the channel

About You
The ideal candidate will have extensive senior experience in the hardware, building materials, or a related sector, with a proven track record of managing national key accounts and developing channel strategies. Demonstrating strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, you are adept at leading and influencing sales teams across multiple regions. This person is a strategic thinker who can execute initiatives rapidly and is highly relationship-driven, maintaining a clear focus on fostering customer growth.
