Description

Our Australian Story

We’ve been a part of the iconic Australian design landscape for over 90 years. Only a few short years after Australians became happy little Vegemites, families were spreading their toast in kitchens and on tables made by us.

Now you’ll see our products featured on The Design Files, in The Local Project videos, and winning praise on ‘The Block’. We’ve come a long way over the past 90 years – and have an even brighter journey ahead of us.

Where your story begins

Laminex is seeking a dynamic and experienced National Credit Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our national credit function. Reporting to the National Credit Manager, this high-profile role involves managing the national debtor’s portfolio, providing key credit advice to regional management, and ensuring effective credit control to minimise bad debts and maximise sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day credit management and administrative tasks.
  • Lead and develop a team of 8 National Credit Officers.
  • Maintain debtor levels within satisfactory criteria.
  • Provide commercial credit advice to regional management.
  • Ensure timely reconciliation, credit requests, and funds collection.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Achieve monthly KPIs for Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and % Overdues.
  • Regularly review and manage credit limits and account applications.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports to management.

Is this you?

We are looking for a proactive and strategic thinker with a strong background in credit management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.

They should be committed to customer service and adept at using credit as a tool to support sales growth. A keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of credit policies and procedures are essential.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in credit management and collections.
  • Member of AICM for at least 3 years.
  • Formal training in Credit Management (TAFE Certificate or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication, supervisory, and team-building skills.
  • Strong commitment to customer service and sales support.

At Laminex, we value innovation, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence. Join our team and contribute to our mission of maintaining strong financial health while supporting our sales objectives.
