National Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager – Tauranga or Auckland

About the Role 
Following an internal promotion, we are seeking a National EHS Manger who will lead the charge on shaping and implementing robust EHS strategies across our national operations, building on well-established frameworks and driving positive change across several sites. This is a senior leadership role, where you will influence a strong culture driving implementation of efficient safety systems, risk management and proactive coaching across our manufacturing and distribution sites. 

We’re seeking a leader who will drive our safety culture forward, ensure best practice, foster innovation, and maintain our commitment to sustainability and well-being. You’ll also ensure we have the regulatory strategy, capability and capacity to ensure our people are safe and we meet all H & S requirements.


About You
We’re seeking an enabler of change, a passionate and influential leader, with a track record of success in senior leadership roles, driving improvements in safety performance and culture within large, complex organisations. Ideally, you’ll bring:
  • Deep understanding and experience of EHS within similar large organisations
  • Highly effective influencing and engagement skills at all levels within organisations 
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of trust, empowerment and accountability
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate, build trust and rapport with diverse range of stakeholders  to achieve business results
  • Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment and assertiveness
  • Preferably trained in ICAM (or similar a similar investigation process) and auditing
