We’re now looking for an experienced National Branch Finance Manager to provide financial leadership across our national branch network and play a key role in driving consistency, performance, and financial excellence. 

The opportunity 
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this senior finance leadership role provides oversight of branch financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across the country. You’ll lead and develop a geographically dispersed team of Financial Accountants and Senior Financial Accountants, while partnering closely with branch and central office leaders to deliver insight, strong controls, and continuous improvement. 
This is a highly influential role suited to a collaborative finance leader who enjoys working across a complex, multi-site environment. 
Key responsibilities 
In this role, you will: 
  • Lead and oversee monthly branch financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with Group standards 
  • Drive consistency and quality in balance sheet management, reconciliations, and resolution of outstanding items 
  • Own the branch budgeting and rolling forecast processes, reviewing and challenging assumptions to ensure plans are robust and achievable 
  • Partner with branch, regional, and central office leaders to provide commercial insight and support performance improvement 
  • Build capability across the branch finance community through coaching, mentoring, and development 
  • Ensure strong compliance with accounting policies, tax obligations, and internal controls 
  • Support audits, finance transformation initiatives, and system or process improvement projects 
About you 
You’ll be a confident finance leader with strong technical foundations and a proven ability to influence across a large organisation. You will bring: 
  • CAANZ membership (or equivalent such as CPA or ACCA) 
  • 7+ years’ experience in financial accounting and finance leadership, ideally within a multi-site or complex operational environment 
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams across multiple locations 
  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder engagement skills 
  • Advanced analytical capability with commercial acumen 
  • Experience with financial systems and reporting tools (e.g. JDE, TM1, Power BI) 
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure
