About the Role

As the National Quality Manager, you will lead our national quality function, enhancing capability, processes and systems. You will guide and influence a team of dedicated quality professionals, driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet our company targets. Your role includes embedding total quality management principles and practices while leading system and process improvements across our national business, which includes 10 manufacturing/distribution sites.

In this role, you will be the voice of quality across the business, ensuring quality remains central to our organisation outcomes. You will prepare management reporting and dashboards to present at the executive level to ensure targets are being monitored and met. Your expertise in quality management and your passion for providing top-tier solutions to our customers will be key to your success. We are looking for someone with a technical product background who can inspire and lead teams on a journey towards excellence, ensuring continued compliance with quality standards while enhancing overall business performance.

Required Skills
  • Proven background in people leadership with a strength in building internal and external relationships.
  • Tertiary Qualifications or equivalent in experience in a related discipline with a Quality focus.
  • Experience working with both procured and manufactured technical products.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality standards, technical requirements, and legislation (e.g. ISO, SAI Global and ApprovalMark International).
  • Demonstrates strong commercial acumen and applies a commercial approach to decision making.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation abilities to effectively guide and support both team members and stakeholders.
  • A self-starter with strong business acumen and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Office and confidence in data analytics.
