Winstone Aggregates is looking for a night shift class 5 driver in bustling Auckland. You’ll be driving a modern air conditioned truck and trailer unit carting aggregate and sand. On a night-to-night basis you’ll be delivering aggregates to customers around the Auckland region. This role is based out of Winstone Transport in Papakura.
For this role you must be an experienced tipper driver. If you have class 5 experience but not tipper work, please consider our day shift role as an alternative.
The Concrete Division comprises Fletcher Building’s aggregate, cement and concrete businesses, employing over 1300 people across three business units. Winstone Aggregates is 150 years old and the largest supplier of sand and aggregate in New Zealand. We will offer you a steady and secure work environment. Hours of work for this role are approximately 5pm – 5am. You will be working in a team of four and will need to be an independent self-starter. With this being night shift, previous experience driving a tipper truck is essential. This role is double-shifted. Typically you will be carting aggregate but will help with bulk work out of the Ports of Auckland.
To be successful for this role you will need to have:
- A class 5 licence
- Experience in driving a class 5 tipper truck
- Road ranger experience
- Health and safety conscious
- Right to work in New Zealand
