Description

The role:

We have a great opportunity for someone wanting to progress and lead a team. We are looking for a Leader who is a real people person and can roll up their sleeves and lead their team from the front.

Daily you will be responsible for –

Driving excellent customer service to our building and trade customers when they come through our branch
Ensuring we have the right product in the right place for our customers
Leading, mentoring and developing the team
General maintenance to ensure Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements are exceeded
Foster long-lasting customer relationships

This is a permanent full -time role, offering 40 hours a week. Working Monday to Friday.

About you:

We are looking for someone with a passion for leading a team, who is highly motivated to make decisions and act to continuously improve performance and safety measures. Someone who will ensure our people stay engaged and focused on our customers.

Have Hands-on leadership skills to ensure that the team exceeds our customers’ expectations.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to motivate/influence the team
A natural leader who is analytical and can problem solve.
Trade/product knowledge or warehousing experience is preferred
Proficient computer and numeracy skills
Have a clean Full driver’s licence as well as Forklift driving experience/licence
Physically fit with a solid health & safety values
Proactive and able to think on your feet under pressure
