Description

The role:
We have a great opportunity for someone wanting to progress and lead a team. We are looking for a Leader who is a real people person and can roll up their sleeves and lead their team from the front. 

Daily you will be responsible for –

  • Driving excellent customer service to our building and trade customers when they come through our branch  
  • Controlling Inventory and stock management with the use of continuous improvement techniques. 
  • Leading, mentoring and developing the team 
  • General maintenance to ensure Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements are exceeded. 
This is a permanent role offering 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday 


About you:
We are looking for someone with a passion for leading a team, who is highly motivated to make decisions and act to continuously improve performance and safety measures. Someone who will ensure our people stay engaged and focused on our customers.
  • Have Hands-on leadership skills to ensure that the team exceeds our customers’ expectations. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to motivate/influence the team
  • A natural leader who is analytical and can problem solve.
  • Trade/product knowledge or warehousing experience is preferred 
  • Proficient computer and numeracy skills
  • Have a clean Full driver’s licence as well as Forklift driving experience/licence 
  • Physically fit with a solid health & safety values 
  • Proactive and able to think on your feet under pressure
