Concrete Placer – Higgins Palmerston North

Higgins Palmerston North is looking for a motivated and hardworking Concrete Placer to join our team. This role will see you involved in a variety of concrete activities across the region. If you enjoy hands on work, take pride in quality finishes, and want to be part of a supportive crew, this could be the opportunity for you.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Preparing, placing and finishing concrete to a high standard
  • Laying concrete kerb and channel
  • Operating small plant and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Supporting general construction activities as required
  • Working as part of a team to deliver safe, high quality outcomes for our customers

What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Experience preparing and finishing concrete
  • Experience laying concrete kerb & channel
  • Knowledge of standard methods, materials, tools and equipment used in concrete construction and maintenance
  • Full and clean Class 1 licence – Class 2 with WTR endorsements is an advantage
  • Physically fit, reliable and punctual
  • Willingness to work flexible hours – our business operates Monday to Sunday
  • A positive attitude and commitment to working safely
