Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operator to support our maintenance crews and ensure the safe, efficient, and high quality delivery of work across our network. You’ll play a key role in maintaining roads, operating plant and machinery, and supporting the wider team to keep our communities moving.

As a Heavy Maintenance Operator, you will uphold our safety standards, deliver quality workmanship, and represent the Higgins brand with professionalism

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • Class 2 licence with WTR is essential
  • Roading and Infrastructure experience
  • Drainage or maintenance experience
  • Strong focus on health and safety not only for yourself, your colleagues but also the public
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to think for yourself
  • A high level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the roles
  • Be reliable, honest and a flexible team player
