If you enjoy responsibility, accuracy, customer interaction, and still want to get out on the plant when needed, this could be the perfect fit.

About the Role
You’ll be the key point of control at the quarry weighbridge, ensuring all vehicle movements are recorded accurately and efficiently. Alongside this, you’ll support the wider team with plant operation and general quarry duties when required.
This is a permanent, full-time role with guaranteed hours and great opportunities to grow your skills.

Operational Support
  • Operating machinery such as excavators, loaders, rollers, watercarts, bobcats, and more
  • Assisting with labouring duties when needed
  • Supporting safe, efficient quarry and earthworks operations

What You’ll Bring
  • Full Class 1 licence + WTR (essential)
  • This position requires knowledge of aggregate materials.
  • Experience in construction, quarrying, or roading
  • Experience operating a range of plant (excavator, loader, roller, etc.)
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a strong safety focus

Why Join Higgins?
