We are passionate about performance and put our customers and Fletcher Building businesses first. We consistently think of innovative ways to solve our customers’ needs and look for ways to improve.

About the role
Due to an internal promotion, we have an excellent opportunity for a People & Performance (P&P) Systems Lead to join the P&P Systems team who are responsible for our HR systems, Workday (HRIS), Cornerstone (LMS) and Avature (Recruitment ATS).   In this role, you’ll lead the strategic planning, implementation, and deploying of new and improved functionalities in our Learning Management System (LMS), Cornerstone.

This includes requirements gathering in consultation with all relevant stakeholder groups, designing system setup and processes, documenting designs, completing system configuration, developing test plans, completing readiness checks (post-testing), and establishing support processes for successful deployment.

You’ll be accountable for looking after the overall system health through audit reporting and escalating issues to vendor. In a SaaS environment, systems change often. Hence, this role is accountable for tracking changes as announced by vendors and managing the testing and preparation for new releases.

You’ll also be responsible for partnering with the P&P Systems Team Leader in establishing and maintaining governance framework and streamlining team processes, managing issues and opportunities from system stakeholders, developing system health strategy, conducting best practice research and value realization studies for system portfolios, prioritizing system enhancements and projects, managing system impact of organizational changes, and managing relationships with system vendors.

About you
You’ll be tertiary qualified in HR/Business, Computer Science or Engineering or you’ll hold a technical certification across any of our HR products.

This will be coupled with experience scoping large pieces of work with multiple system dependencies, and business process mapping and process re-engineering.  It is expected this will include at least 5 years operational support of software: COTS, SaaS, new development and enhancements.  Knowledge of a LMS or a system where you can manage competencies is a must, as is knowledge in HR functional areas (i.e. compliance, learning, performance and/or talent).   Cornerstone experience is highly advantageous, as is Learning & Development knowledge (knowing the ins and outs of learning).

You will be joining a driven and engaging team. If you are inquisitive, self-motivated and thrive on challenge and opportunity, then this is the role for you. In return, you will enjoy the on-going benefits and career opportunities of working for one of NZ’s largest employers. We are focused on improving the world around us through smart thinking, simply delivered.
