Here at ColorCote we are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Production Operator, to paint coil steel and ensure quality on our production line.

Based in our busy production facility in Penrose, this role will see you focusing on manufacturing products to our customer’s requirements while working to short deadlines. Ideally you will have:

• Permanent Residency or New Zealand Citizenship 
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with a team
• Excellent attendance records: Good time management skills and demonstrates reliability, punctuality and consistency.

Health and Safety is at the forefront of what we do so safe work practices, along with the willingness to identify potential hazards and participate in Health and Safety training, is a must.

We currently operate a rotating shift pattern which includes 12.25 hour shifts. The shift pattern includes day shifts (6.45am – 7.00pm) and night shifts (6.45pm – 7.00am) on a 3 week roster pattern (From Monday to Saturday).  You are guaranteed to always have Sundays off.
