As our network continues to grow, we're looking for a commercially minded legal professional to join our Brisbane team and help manage the contracts, governance and compliance activities that support our franchise operations. 

Reporting into the business and working closely with key internal stakeholders and external legal providers, you'll play a critical role in managing franchise agreements, commercial contracts, compliance obligations and legal documentation.
This role is ideally suited to a Senior Paralegal, Commercial Contracts Specialist or Legal Operations professional looking to move beyond traditional legal administration and into a commercially focused position where they can have genuine impact on business outcomes.


What you'll be doing

  • Manage franchise agreements and related documentation.
  • Draft, review and coordinate commercial contracts.
  • Maintain contract registers and governance records.
  • Monitor key contract dates, renewals and obligations.
  • Support franchise compliance and disclosure requirements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and external legal providers.
  • Conduct legal and commercial research.
  • Identify contractual and compliance risks.
  • Improve contract management processes and controls.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years' experience in a Paralegal, Contracts or Legal Operations role.
  • Strong commercial contract management experience.
  • Experience within an in-house legal team or commercial environment.
  • Sound understanding of contract law and governance processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and document management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication capability.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Legal qualifications or related tertiary studies preferred.

Experience supporting franchise businesses, multi-site operations or retail networks will be highly regarded.
