The role

We have an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about Payroll but doesn't necessarily have a lot of experience - this is your chance to get your foot in the door and gain exposure and training

in Payroll.

As a Payroll Support, you’ll be joining a friendly, dedicated, and passionate team. You’ll be responsible for performing accurate and timely payroll processing tasks that support payroll operational activity. These duties are performed in accordance with company procedures and Business Unit requirements covering tasks across Time and Attendance inputs, payroll, and payroll compliance.

The role is responsible for ensuring all contractual terms and conditions, service level agreements, company policy, and relevant employment legislation are adhered to. The role will also act as a Payroll Partner on specific payrolls when required, so it’s a great opportunity to step up and process payroll from end to end.

About you

Training will be provided; however, if you already have some exposure to payroll and collective and individual employment agreements, this would be highly advantageous, as would knowledge of Employment Legislation and the New Zealand Holidays Act. Just as important is a desire to learn, being tech savvy with the ability to pick up new things quickly, and having a high attention to detail.

We are looking for someone to join this dedicated, hard-working team – someone who is customer-focused and service-oriented. Someone who can work accurately, under pressure, and meet strict payroll deadlines.
