About the opportunity

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for mentoring and coaching a team payroll professionals to ensure the timely and accurate processing of payrolls and associated reporting. You will be the SME and the key point of escalation for queries and responsible for growing the expertise in the team.


About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A solid working knowledge of CHRIS 21 or iChris – this is an essential requirement
  • Previous experience in a supervisory payroll position or Senior Payroll Officer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated priorities management and problem solving capability
  • Proven ability to manage workload in order to meet deadlines
  • Proficient user of MS Office (including Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Understand or be able to interpret a variety of awards/EBA agreements
