Are you ready to make a significant impact on a transformative project? Fletcher Construction is seeking an experienced Plant Coordinator to join our team for Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (Te Awa Kairangi).


About the Role

In this role you'll ensure all mobile plant, vehicles, and equipment are fit for purpose. Your role will be crucial in managing plant procurement, allocation, and compliance.

  • On-site plant management and coordination.
  • Ensure compliance of the project plant fleet through pre-acceptance audits and ongoing checks.
  • Manage leased and hired plant and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and tracking utilisation.
  • Record and investigate any damage to hired, leased, or owned plant.
  • Assist with the efficient running of the project's bulk diesel fuel supply and direct machine refuelling operations.

  • Relevant experience in plant coordination and management.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.


About Te Awa Kairangi 

Te Awa Kairangi Alliance is delivering transport, walking and cycling improvements to the SH2 Melling interchange and rail station, as part of a wider flood protection and city revitalisation programme. 

Fletcher Construction is working with Alliance partners AECOM, NZTA, Taranaki Whānui and Ngāti Toa Rangatira to deliver this transformative project.  Design is underway and construction is due to commence in late 2025.
