We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an entry-level Plant Machine Operator. In this role, you will produce masonry blocks to specification, ensuring consistent levels of quality as per the plant’s production schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate machinery to produce masonry blocks as per specifications
  • Maintain consistent quality in line with the production schedule
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient production
  • Adhere to health and safety standards to keep yourself and others safe

Shift Details:
  • Rotating Shifts: One week on day shift, the next week on night shift
  • Day Shift: 4:00am to 2:00pm (may extend to 12 hours and include Saturday morning work)
  • Night Shift: 2:00pm to Midnight (may extend to 12 hours)
  • *Flexibility in finishing hours is required as both day and night shifts can be extended to 12 hours with business demand.

What We Are Looking For:
  • Excellent and clear communication skills to facilitate efficient discussions within the team
  • Mechanically minded with a background in manufacturing is a bonus
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn not only the basics of machine production but in time other elements onsite, including block machine and loader operations
  • Forklift license is an extra bonus
  • High level of health and safety awareness to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and those around you
