About the Role:
The core focus is to ensure the coordination, administration and customer service aspects of pricing estimation for PlaceMakers Central Otago is handled accurately and efficiently whilst delivering the highest level of service to our customers.

Daily you will be responsible for:
  • Processing and validation of service requests
  • Discuss the plan with the customer and/or Account Manager
  • Prepare and package plans, quote and pre-nails in conjunction with the Account Manager
  • Assigning of estimation jobs 
  • Monitoring of overdue services
  • Return of services
  • Recommend and support relevant process improvement 
  • Provide management reports/information as required
  • Liaise with Suppliers for pricing  

This is a permanent role offering 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, based at either our Cromwell, Alexandra or Queenstown branch. 

About you:
The role would suit someone who is looking to enter the workforce or take the next step in their admin career – someone who has a great passion for people and excellent communication skills, we will provide full training and support around systems etc.

  • Proven experience in customer service and/or retail sales environment – Administration 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail are key!
  • A strong team player, having the ability to work well under pressure, problem solve and take initiative.  
  • Highly customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills and a ‘can do’ attitude 
  • Preferably have pricing or estimations background and a genuine interested in the building and construction industry
