About the Position

This is a hands-on, people-first engineering role within Baron Insulation’s close knit Keysborough site. As a Process Improvement Engineer, you will work as an individual while partnering closely with the Maintenance Fitter, Operations and the wider Engineering team to identify, design and implement practical improvements across manufacturing and maintenance processes.

You will be on the floor, listening, learning and building trust always finding ways to understand how work really gets done and turning that insight into safer, smarter and more efficient ways of working.

Skills and Requirements

Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, ideally with 2–3 years post graduate experience
Demonstrated experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Strong computer literacy across Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
AutoCAD experience (preferred) for design, drawings and plant modifications
Working knowledge of Safety and Environment requirements while working
Confident in project delivery, process improvement and making commercially viable decisions
Excellent communication, warm and engaging
