More About Your New Role

We are seeking a passionate Process Optimisation Engineer to join our team at Dandenong South. In this newly designed role, you’ll be the subject matter expert, be leading out process efficiency and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations as well as championing process safety, including leading HAZOPs to ensure regulatory compliance. You’ll collaborate with engineering, maintenance, manufacturing, and other functions, using your technical expertise and commercial mindset to optimise processes and deliver tangible results.

This is a hands-on position where you will analyse workflows, implement improvements, and provide technical governance. You will need to work closely with cross-functional teams, supporting capital projects and mentoring junior engineers in our business, helping shape the next generation of talent. This role is perfect if you thrive on solving complex challenges, enjoy working collaboratively, and want to see the value you can add to our business.

Skills and Experience

  • Degree qualified Chemical Engineer, with a passion for process optimisation
  • Demonstrated experience in manufacturing environments
  • Practical exposure to process control, automation, or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Proactive problem solver, hands on in trouble shooting and creating solution
  • Ideally have Lean Six Sigma qualifications or training
  • Strong communicator, able to communicate and present to different level of stakeholders
  • Passionate about sharing your skills to support growth of others in the business
