Are you ready to make a significant impact on a transformative project? Fletcher Construction is seeking a talented and innovative Procurement Administrator for Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (Te Awa Kairangi).

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-driven Procurement Administrator to join our Commercial Team in Lower Hutt. This role is all about keeping our procurement engine running smoothly supporting project delivery, ensuring compliance, and building supplier relationships. You’ll be the go-to for purchase orders, supplier queries, and contract documentation, working closely with both internal teams and external partners.

This is a full-time permanent role, commencing on or after 12 January 2026.

  • Process purchase orders in JDE; set up, receipt, review, and maintain accuracy
  • Resolve supplier invoice queries and ensure timely payments
  • Support procurement processes including tender submissions and vendor applications
  • Draft and manage supply contracts and amendments
  • Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with governance standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to keep projects moving

What you’ll bring to the role

We’re after someone who thrives on structure, accuracy, and collaboration. You’ll be confident liaising with construction teams, navigating systems, solving problems, and keeping things on track.

  • 3–5 years’ experience in procurement, ideally in a large or project-based environment
  • Knowledge of JDE or similar ERP systems is preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and MS Office skills
  • A sharp eye for detail and strong analytical thinking
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and juggle competing priorities

About Us

We pride ourselves on safely delivering a wide variety of construction and infrastructure projects for the people of New Zealand and the South Pacific. But our power is not in what we do, it’s in who we are. We are a team of 3,700 people working under three brands: Fletcher Construction, Higgins, and Brian Perry Civil. We may be a big team, but we haven’t lost sight of what really matters: looking after our people.

We recognise that treating our people well is only partially about what happens during work hours. It’s also about the impact we have outside of work hours too. That’s why we have incredible learning and development opportunities for staff and their families, industry-leading parental leave, support systems and generous corporate discounts.
