About the Position

We are embarking on an exciting transformation in our Procurement Team with two newly created positions. We are currently recruiting for two dynamic & experienced Procurement Managers to join us at Iplex Strathpine. As the Procurement Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving commercial success and operational efficiency through strategic procurement initiatives. Your responsibilities will include crafting and executing medium to long-term procurement strategies in alignment with the goals of Iplex, focusing on cost reduction, operational enhancement, and market engagement. Moreover, you'll foster strategic relationships with key suppliers, oversee contract negotiations, and ensure compliance with relevant trade legislation.

We're seeking a proactive and visionary leader with a keen eye for detail to fill the role of Procurement Manager. In this role, you'll champion business improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance service delivery, and drive cost savings across the organization's national network. Skills and Experience

• Confident in developing & exceeding company goals and metrics

• The ability to create new procedures and systems in Procurement Management

• Strategic Mindset to align with Category & Procurement objectives

• Strong analytical capabilities, enjoy investigations, research, and reporting

• You are excellent at building relationships with internal & external stakeholders

• Experience in negotiating contracts and agreements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and experience using ERP Systems

• Passion for leading your team, giving further development & feedback

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, purchasing, or Procurement
