Description

Are you passionate about colour, design and bringing customer insights to life through innovative products?

Laminex is seeking a Product Manager to join our Decorative team, helping shape one of Australia's most recognised interior surface brands. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Product Manager or Product Manager ready to take the next step in their career, working across colour trends, product portfolios, customer insights and commercial decision-making.

You'll play a key role helping manage and evolve our decorative product range. Working closely with Sales, Innovation, Marketing and Commercial teams, you'll turn market insights into product solutions that create value for our customers and the business.

What you'll be doing
  • Support the ongoing colour programme and help shape future colour and décor ranges.
  • Analyse customer, market and sales insights to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Manage product and portfolio projects from concept through to implementation.
  • Maintain highly accurate product information and specifications.
  • Partner with Account Managers and customers to uncover valuable market insights.
  • Balance customer needs with commercial priorities to support business growth.
  • Utilise data from Salesforce, Power BI and other reporting tools to inform decisions.
  • Prepare compelling presentations and recommendations for internal and customer audiences.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver successful product outcomes.

Ideally you'll bring
  • 3-5 years' experience in a Product, Category, Marketing, Commercial or Design-related role.
  • An understanding of colour, design trends and customer preferences.
  • Interior Design qualifications or experience would be highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with spreadsheets and data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong process discipline.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to balance competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A curious mindset and a passion for understanding what customers value.

Why Laminex?
For over 90 years, Laminex has helped shape the spaces Australians live, work and learn in. As part of Fletcher Building, you'll join a business that combines the strength of a market-leading organisation with the opportunity to make a genuine impact.
In return, you'll enjoy:
  • A collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Exposure to product strategy, design trends and customer insights.
  • Career development opportunities across a leading Australasian organisation.
  • The chance to work on products that influence residential and commercial spaces nationwide.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
