About the Role 

We are thrilled to be recruiting for this newly created position, Production Manager at Iplex Strathpine, you will be at the forefront of our manufacturing operations, leading a team of dedicated professionals to achieve excellence in product quality, customer satisfaction and safety. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing all production activities, quality of produced products, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 

We are looking for a candidate with a positive attitude, an engaging personality, and a passion for quality, safety and people. Your ability to foster a collaborative and innovative team environment will be essential in achieving our strategic objectives. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including the Operations Manager and Site Management teams, and build strong relationships with major customers and suppliers. This is the perfect role If you are an engaging leader with a commitment to continuous improvement and a track record of successful production management.

Skills and Experience 
  • Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or Trade Certificate 
  • Proven leadership background & ability to mentor
  • Successful background in Manufacturing 
  • Ability to forward plan, forecast, and problem-solve issues
  • Passion for process improvement and streamlining systems 
  • Collaborative approach to leading and desire to be amongst the team
  • Understanding of scheduling & rostering across 24/7 operating business 
  • Previous exposure to EA’s 
  • Confident in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
