Role: Production Manager
Location: Hillsborough | Hours: Full time - Monday to Friday

The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to join our high-performing manufacturing team at our Hillsborough site, operating within a 24/7 continuous line environment. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for leading production operations, developing capable teams and delivering consistent high performing manufacturing results.
  • Champion a zero-harm, safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all HSE, legislative and site requirements.
  • Lead, coach and develop multi-shift production teams with a focus on capability and engagement.
  • Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and SOP adherence.
  • Deliver manufacturing KPI’s across safety, quality, cost, OEE, OTP, and plant utilisation.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, productions scheduling and plant capability.
  • Investigate incidents, quality issues and customer complaints to resolution.

About You
We’re looking for an experienced production leader who leads with integrity and accountability and has the capability to operate effectively in a complex manufacturing environment. You will bring:
  • An engineering qualification or trade background qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • 5+ years’ leadership experience in a continuous line manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in lean manufacturing, quality systems and continuous improvement.
  • The ability to motivate, coach and build highly effective teams.
  • Strong safety leadership and a proven track record in performance delivery.
  • Clear, confident communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the business.
