Role: Production Operator - Tauriko, Bay of Plenty

The Role
Reporting to the Production Shift Team Lead, this role will see you responsible for all processes involved in the manufacture of GIB® plasterboard.  You will ensure that all duties are carried out correctly and safely and that all products released for distribution meet manufacturing and quality standards and specifications.

This role will be working 12 hour shifts on a rotating roster with 4 days on (2x dayshift and 2x nightshift) and 4 days off 

  
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have experience working in an industrial production environment or fast-paced distribution operations, coupled with:
  • 2 years + of experience in a continuous, heavy manufacturing environment
  • OSH/ Fork hoist experience
  • Ability to cope with shift work pattern
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously
  • The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, enjoys tinkering and problem-solving
  • Dedication to fostering a strong culture of health and safety
  • Physically fit
