About the Role
This role sits on our glasswool production line and involves a variety of responsibilities to ensure products meet ISO9000 quality standards and that all production data is accurately recorded. We’re looking for a motivated Production Operator with strong technical skills and hands-on experience in automated machinery to take responsibility for machine setup, troubleshooting, and maintaining smooth, efficient production while upholding the highest quality standards.

Rotating Shift:  12-hour shift pattern of two-days, two nights - four days off  

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proven ability to set, monitor, and operate modern automated handling and packaging machinery, ensuring smooth production for a variety of product specifications.
  • Troubleshooting machinery / automation issues.
  • Assisting the Team Leader with product changes.
  • Maintaining housekeeping standards in the wool-line area.

About You:  
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Production Operator, ideally within plastic injection moulding or steel manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience with setting, adjusting and calibrating curing ovens and production machinery, with strong trouble shooting experience and an understanding of temperature control and machine speed requirements.
  • Physically fit, committed to health and safety, and holding a full driver’s licence.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration to achieve production goals.
