This role is based at our Clever Core NZ plant, Cavendish Drive, Manukau, so great for someone wanting to reduce their commute or work closer to home. We have plenty of on site parking and it is close to motorway network. Clever Core are offsite manufacturers of the Structural Core of residential housing, that means the manufacture of closed wall panels, floor & roof cassettes and the offsite assembly of our products.
Our Clever Core plant has brand new specialised manufacturing equipment and most of the high tech plant equipment has been sourced from Germany. This is a hands on role working within the production team to manufacture products in line with planned production schedule. The days of work are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4pm.
We are looking for physically fit, energetic people who love working in a busy hands on role. Previous experience in a machine operator position within a manufacturing environment would be highly regarded. If you have either mechanical or building aptitude, that will be highly regarded. You will need to have a Forklift OSH and F endorsement, a very good level of verbal and written communication will also be needed as well as the ability to work part of a team. There will a lot of training and induction, particularly in Environmental, Health & Safety, so you will need to have the ability to take on information, instructions quickly and put into practice quickly.
You will need to:
- have eligibility to work and live in New Zealand
- Be able pass a Pre-Employment medical & Drug & Alcohol Test
- Be able to pass a Criminal Check
