We manufacture and procure a broad range of products for commercial and residential use such as laminate, engineered stone and veneers so that all Australians can live in beautiful, practical spaces. 
 
Where your story begins
 
We currently offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Major Shut Planner to join the team at our close-knit Toolara plant. Reporting to the Reliability Leader, you will be an integral member of the Planning and Reliability team and accountable to deliver cost effective and proactive maintenance planning to meet short and long term needs of the plant.

 Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing cost effective and proactive maintenance planning strategies to meet immediate and long term needs of the plant
  • Develop comprehensive job scopes for major shutdowns and annual rebuilds, ensuring deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets are clearly defined to support effective planning, cost control, and execution
  • Planning and scheduling maintenance activities, shutdowns
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to optimise plant availability and reliability
  • You will play a critical role in the development and implementation of reliability systems and processes that will ensure the continued success of the business through the improvement of machine reliability and availability.



Role you'll play
 
Along with well-developed communication and people management skills you will need to have the following skills and experience:
  • An engineering, mechanical or electrical trade qualification
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience in planning and executing shutdowns and maintenance
  • Ability to manage complex project budgets and ensure financial accountability
  • Contractor management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in engineering/mechanical maintenance
  • Good knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) 
  • A strong health and safety attitude
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Project and Excel
  • An understanding of preventative / predictive maintenance philosophies
