Iplex Pipelines – A member of the Fletcher Building group was established in Australia in 1938 and over the past eight decades has grown to become a recognised leader in the supply of pipeline products to the water and gas industries. We merged with our sister company Rocla in 2018 and together we are one of the largest Australian suppliers of pipes, fittings and civil infrastructure solutions with a combined 176 years’ of experience and a national footprint that can manufacture and distribute in all states.
About the role -
Due to an internal promotion, we now require a Production Team Leader at our Toowoomba worksite.
In this role you will be responsible for supervising all production activities through effective team leadership, in order to meet performance targets. The role must ensure that all aspects of EH&S compliance are met within budget constraints.
This is a hands-on supervisory role, requiring a combination of line management activities, and technical skill application.
You will be working in a 24/7 rotating shift environment.
Key to the role success will be engagement, ownership, accountability and continuous improvement within the shift production team through development and maintenance of systems such as problem solving, 5S and waste reduction.
About you –
We are looking for:
- Frontline Manager Certificate 4 and/or relevant Team Leader experience in manufacturing.
- Competitive Manufacturing Certificate IV (preferred but not essential)
- An autonomous Leader who values team contribution and development.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to train.
- Good problem solving skills with the enthusiasm and ability to learn new skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic.
- Good computer literacy with experience in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Enthusiasm and dedication to providing the best service levels possible
